Jeremy Renner is no stranger to playing men caught up in violent activity on the streets or in war. He got a Best Actor Oscar nomination for his work as a military bomb-defusing expert in THE HURT LOCKER and he’s had key roles in SWAT – alongside THE AVENGERS colleague Samuel L. Jackson – THE TOWN, MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: GHOST PROTOCOL and 28 WEEKS LATER. It’s been a busy Bat-week. First, ASSIGNMENT X checked out an early IMAX presentation of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES prologue (you can view it here – The Dark Knight Rises prologue review) and now Warner Bros. has released a Bane teaser poster for the film. Review: THE DARK KNIGHT RISES IMAX teaser presentation

Last night ASSIGNMENT X was invited to attend a special seven-minute presentation of the IMAX prologue to next summer’s THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Batman film (opening July 20, 2012). This early look at the film is going to be attached to select IMAX theaters showing MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – GHOST PROTOCOL opening next Friday (you can click on the link to see which theaters will have the DARK KNIGHT RISES prologue).
