Marvel Studios and Paramount Pictures held the World Premiere of CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER at the El Capitan Theater on July 19th. The carpet was red and white, and at the end of the carpet before the stars of the film and guests walked into the theater was the CAPTAIN AMERICA shield. The premiere was sponsored by Harley-Davidson, and where I was they had a white Harley that the stars autographed when they walked on the carpet.  In the film, CAPTAIN AMERICA rides a Harley-Davidson WLA motorcycle.  Also sponsoring was Baskin-Robbins and Dunkin’ Donuts. Warner Bros. Pictures, in association with Legendary Pictures, A Green Hat Films Production presented the Los Angeles Premiere of THE HANGOVER PART II on May 19th at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Hollywood Boulevard was closed between Highland and Orange to accommodate the fans, and all the press. The “black carpet” had HANGOVER printed on it and where I was standing they had big red letters stating the same. In THE HANGOVER PART II, Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms), Alan (Zach Galifianakis) and Doug (Justin Bartha) travel to exotic Thailand for Stu’s wedding. Warner Bros. Pictures presented the Los Angeles Premiere of UNKNOWN, in association with Dark Castle Entertainment, A Panda Production on February 16, at the Regency Village Theater in Westwood. Since it was cold and raining most of the day the press and the stars attending were tented. Fans stood on the street to get a glimpse of the stars who stopped to sign autographs. Movie Review: DUE DATE

When two teams of writers work on a project, it’s generally not good news. Such is the case with DUE DATE, a road trip comedy blessed with the intense, intelligent presence of Robert Downey, Jr. and Zack Galifianakis as mismatched travelers, but lacking hilarity in either premise or details.
