AMERICAN FILM MARKET 2011 kicked off in Santa Monica, CA yesterday for Day 1 of the annual market where foreign and domestic buyers and sellers convene to make deals on past, present and future films. The star wattage though has gotten even bigger in the last couple of years with director/producer Ron Howard making an appearance this year to promote and raise awareness of his new Formula 1 racing movie RUSH.
