Breaking News: ABC very happy with summer performance of ROOKIE BLUE

It’s rare for a network to come up with a successful scripted series in the summer, but ABC has managed to groom the series ROOKIE BLUE into a solid hit now that it’s in its third season. One of the biggest summer scripted success stories has been ABC’s Canadian co-production cop show ROOKIE BLUE starring Missy Peregrym  that has performed solidly last summer and this summer as well. At today’s Television Critics Association press session, ABC Entertainment President Paul Lee says he would love to see ROOKIE BLUE graduate to the regular season at some point if the ratings continue to thrive during the summer months. “It’s a timing issue,” Lee admits. “It’s a really good issue, but I would happy to see it in the [regular] season.” Click on Link: For More news from the Summer […]Read On »
