Toronto International Film Festival Wrap Up: Part 2 – The Warm

It’s time to re-evaluate what happened at the Toronto International Film Festival by dividing up the films into three categories. So here are the winners, losers and something in-between so just for fun I’ve broken them down into buzz terms, HOT, WARM and COLD. Part 2: THE WARM (BUZZ+CRITICAL REACTION+AUDIENCE COMMENTS) THE FIFTH ESTATE Warts and all Julian Assange / WikiLeaks story starring Benedict Cumberbatch. AMERICAN FILM MARKET 2011 kicked off in Santa Monica, CA yesterday for Day 1 of the annual market where foreign and domestic buyers and sellers convene to make deals on past, present and future films. The star wattage though has gotten even bigger in the last couple of years with director/producer Ron Howard making an appearance this year to promote and raise awareness of his new Formula 1 racing movie RUSH.
