In USA’s NECESSARY ROUGHNESS, Wednesdays at 10 PM, psychotherapist Dan Santino (Callie Thorne) finds herself drawn into the world of professional sports when she’s asked to treat star wide receiver Terrence “T.K.” King, played by Mehcad Brooks. NECESSARY ROUGHNESS represents some job security for the Texas-born Brooks, who played the ill-fated Eggs on Season Two of HBO’s TRUE BLOOD. At today’s HBO session at the Summer 2011 TCA in Beverly Hills, TRUE BLOOD executive producer Alan Ball says he’s definitely on board for Season 5 of the series that stars Anna Paquin as Sookie Stackhouse. “There will be an end for me on this show at some point, but I just closed a deal to do another season,” says Ball.  “I don’t have any desire to leave, because I’ve had more fun than I’ve ever had in my life.” As for scoops on the new seasons, Ball reveals they will be showing how one of the vampires were “made” […]Read On »
