TCA News: CBS discusses picking up UNFORGETTABLE for a second season for next summer

When CBS announced its Fall 2012, one notable series was absence – the freshman procedural series UNFORGETTABLE. However, a deal was recently struck for the series to return in the Summer 2013 for a second season and CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler spoke about the summer pick-up at today’s Summer 2012 TCA CBS Press Tour. “It was a tough decision and we had a strong schedule and strong pilots, but he had strong research on the show,” explains Tassler. “We saw this as an opportunity to put it on for next season.” While ratings for summer shows are different from […]Read On »

In the often copycat world of reality competition television, Syfy’s series FACE OFF, premiering tonight (Wednesday) at 10 PM, is a first. Twelve contestants are assembled, not to sing, dance or romance, but rather to prove their excellence and originality in the realm of special-effects makeup. The regular judges for the twelve-contestant, eight-week show include multiple Oscar winner Ve Neill (BEETLEJUICE, ED WOOD, MRS. It’s not surprising, but at today’s Winter TCA press tour in Pasadena, CA for STARZ, it was announced that yes, SPARTACUS – Season 2 is happening.
