For its first four seasons, THE LEAGUE, the half-hour comedy created by Jackie and Jeff Schaffer, was a staple for FX Network. Now FX is moving THE LEAGUE to its new outlet FXX for the show’s fifth season, which debuted Wednesday September 4 at 10:30 PM, following fellow FX transfer IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA, which is now on FXX Wednesdays at 10 PM. Recently Columbia Pictures presented the World Premiere of THIS IS THE END at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood. Fans were 3 rows deep this night to catch the stars as they arrived, and of course they screamed like they usually do! Most of the signs were for Emma Watson, who starred in the HARRY POTTER films, and since she resides in England the fans were doubly excited! DreamWorks Animation held the Los Angeles Premiere of KUNG FU PANDA 2 at the Mann’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on May 22nd. They had a huge before party with games and food that the stars and guests attended. Each attendee was giving a black gift bag filled with stuff, although I’m not sure what was in the bag! Fans lined the open area opposite from the press to get autographs and take pictures, and waited until Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt arrived; which since Jolie and Pitt love their fans, they signed many autographs.
