In AMC’s Monday-night THE TERROR: INFAMY, Japanese-Americans and their immigrant parents and grandparents are confronted by two kinds of horror. One is the real-world abomination of the internment camps, set up by the U.S. government in a wave of racist panic after the 1941 bombing of Pearl Harbor, which mandated that all people of Japanese descent be rounded up and held in detention facilities.
