SUITS fans need not despair. Yes, the series is in its last season, but its spinoff, PEARSON, premieres on USA Network Wednesday July 17. Daniel Arkin and Aaron Korsh (the former is a writer/executive producer on SUITS, the latter is that series’ creator) teamed up to develop a series around Gina Torres’s character Jessica Pearson. Pearson started out as the head of the New York law firm in SUITS, but left at the end of 2016-2017’s Season 6. News: The CW gives the scoop on THE VAMPIRE DIARIES spin-off THE ORIGINALS – TCA 2013

It was recently announced that The CW is creating a spin-off to their popular THE VAMPIRE DIARIES series and now The CW President Mark Pedowitz has revealed some more details about what will be called THE ORIGINALS. At today’s The CW Winter 2013 session, Pedowitz revealed that THE ORIGINALS will focus on Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and the Original family of vampires and this is going to be a backdoor pilot that will be part of DIARIES. TCA News: First News on THE CLOSER spin-off MAJOR CRIMES

At today’s TCA press tour for the Turner networks, details on the new THE CLOSER spin-off for TNT was announced. TCA 2011: Fox addresses recent GLEE controversy, spin-off status and Season 3

With GLEE entering Season 3, controversy has dogged the Fox show in the last few weeks. Some of it stems with co-creator Ryan Murphy talking about writing three of the show’s primary leads off the show (Chris Colfer, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith) at the end of this season by having them graduating, but failing to mention he was quietly developing a spin-off for them.
