Recently Warner Bros. Consumer Products and Junk Food Clothing held an event at Meltdown Comics in Hollywood for the launch of products inspired by the 1960’s BATMAN CLASSIC TV Series. The BATMOBILE was parked in front of the store where Adam West posed when he first arrived. Some of the stars took turns posing in the car. Universal Studios Hollywood held the Annual EYEGORE AWARDS in celebration of the opening of HALLOWEEN HORROR NIGHTS recently. The EYEGORE AWARDS honor horror genre’s top stars and filmmakers. This year’s EYEGORE AWARD honorees included Oscar-nominated Mexican filmmaker Guillermo del Toro (HELLBOY and PAN’S LABYRINTH), Chad Michael Murray (HOUSE OF WAX), GRIMM stars Silas Weir Mitchell and Bitsie Tulloch accepted an award on behalf of the NBC’s hit series, Angelica Maria and Angelica Vale – the mother-daughter duo accepted the award for their role in MUJERES ASESINAS 2 (FEMALE ASSASSINS 2). DreamWorks Animation held the Los Angeles Premiere of KUNG FU PANDA 2 at the Mann’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on May 22nd. They had a huge before party with games and food that the stars and guests attended. Each attendee was giving a black gift bag filled with stuff, although I’m not sure what was in the bag! Fans lined the open area opposite from the press to get autographs and take pictures, and waited until Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt arrived; which since Jolie and Pitt love their fans, they signed many autographs. Warner Bros. Pictures, in association with Legendary Pictures, a Cruel and Unusual Production, and a Zack Snyder film held the Los Angeles World Premiere of SUCKER PUNCH on March 23rd at the Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood. Once again it was a rainy night and the press were inside a tent. The black carpet, which had SUCKER PUNCH imprinted on it, was decorated by posters that featured all the stars’ characters and at the end of the carpet was a statue.
