Disney • Pixar held the World Premiere of MONSTERS UNIVERSITY, June 17th at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood. It was a big premiere with the blue carpet running almost the whole block from Highland to Orange closing down Hollywood Blvd., which also included a Tailgate event with games and food for the guests. As usual it was lots of press, photographers and fans. MONSTERS UNIVERSITY is the story of Mike Wazowski (voiced of Billy Crystal) when he was a little monster and he had a great dream of becoming a Scarer. THE MUPPETS showed up in Hollywood recently to celebrate the World Premiere of their movie THE MUPPETS from Disney at the El Capitan Theatre. Sweetums was the first to walk down the green carpet to greet all the press. Followed by Kermit, Fozzie Bear, Animal, Rowlf and Walter in a black Chrysler Jeep Wrangler, who was a sponsor and then Miss Piggy rode up in a Silver Chrysler convertible smiling at all the press. Warner Bros. Pictures and Alcon Entertainment held the World Premiere of DOLPHIN TALE on September 17th at the Village Theatre in Westwood. The blue carpet had a backdrop with large fish tanks. DOLPHIN TALE is a true story about a brave dolphin named Winter, and the compassionate people who banded together to save her life.
