In Hallmark Channel’s original movie ROCK THE HOUSE (which airs tonight), lawyer Max, played by Jack Coleman, finds a way to reconnect with his daughter and his old sense of joy when he gets back together with his music-making friends from his teenaged years. Coleman in fact has a musical background – he’s been on Broadway – but he’s perhaps best known lately for playing Noah Bennet, aka HRG (Horn-Rimmed Glasses), the Man with the Plan, on four seasons of HEROES. Lately, he’s had a recurring role on THE OFFICE as a Senator dating Angela (Angela Kinsey) who may be […]Read On »

Stars: Rainn Wilson, John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer, B.J. Novak, Ed Helms Writer: Paul Lieberstein Director: Jeffrey Blitz Network: NBC, airs Thursday nights Original Telecast: May 19. 2011 I can understand NBC’s need to hype the fact that big stars like Ray Romano, James Spader and Jim Carrey were going to drop by THE OFFICE to vie for the job of new Dunder-Mifflin manager after Steve Carell said his goodbyes a couple of weeks ago as Michael Scott. However, it almost torpedoes this one-hour season finale “Search Committee” because we already know all the surprises. We even know that THE OFFICE […]Read On »

The Dork Side: TV Quotables for Everyday Life

THE SIMPSONS - Season 22 - The 21st Annual TREEHOUSE OF HORROR | ©2011 Fox

“D’oh!” I say “D’oh” multiple times a day, every day. I say it when I drop something. I say it when I hurt myself. I say it when I’ve done something stupid. I say it when someone else drops something or tells me a story about something stupid they did. Sometimes I say it when I hear a sad story, saying softly, “Oh, d’oh,” with a sympathetic look. After years of watching THE SIMPSONS, it is burned in my brain. I’m sure the first time I said it, I thought about it and said it to make someone laugh. Now, […]Read On »
