In Hallmark Channel’s original movie ROCK THE HOUSE (which airs tonight), lawyer Max, played by Jack Coleman, finds a way to reconnect with his daughter and his old sense of joy when he gets back together with his music-making friends from his teenaged years. NBC was the first out of the gate to announce their Fall 2011 and Midseason 2012 schedule in New York today. With the most to gain, NBC has put together a pretty aggressive schedule of newcomers benefitted from expected returning warhorses. While there isn’t anything earth-shattering, it is nice to see NBC going with the CW playbook by booking two genre series back-to-back on Friday night with returning CHUCK and the new series GRIMM. Big news (and sad news) for THE OFFICE fans. Yes, Steve Carell is leaving at the end of the season of the NBC series, but he’s leaving much earlier than expected. At today’s Winter TCA session for NBC, Kathy Bates, while promoting her new lawyer show HARRY’S LAW from creator David E. Kelley, revealed that her role as Jo Bennett on THE OFFICE is not over. “Now that we wrapped our shooting of HARRY’S LAW, I will appear in a couple more episodes of THE OFFICE in the spring,” reveals Bates.
