IFC’s DOCUMENTARY NOW!, currently in its third season on Wednesday nights, offers keen-eyed parodies of actual documentaries. The episode airing February 27, “Cast Album: Co-op,” sends up D.A. Pennebaker’s hour-long 1970 ORIGINAL CAST ALBUM: COMPANY, which chronicled the recording of the soundtrack for the Stephen Sondheim Broadway musical. The series was created by Fred Armisen, Bill Hader, Seth Meyers, and Rhys Thomas. James Urbaniak stars in “Cast Album: Co-op” as Broadway musical director Howard Pine, who bears a non-coincidental resemblance to COMPANY director Harold Prince. CRIMINAL MINDS is now in its twelfth season, Wednesday nights on CBS. Paget Brewster has had a unique relationship with the series, which concerns the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU). Actress Paget Brewster is known to procedural TV viewers for her near-decade as extremely serious FBI Special Agent Emily Prentiss on CRIMINAL MINDS. However, the Massachusetts native has a passion for comedy. Brewster is currently one of the leads in Comedy Central’s new half-hour ANOTHER PERIOD, Tuesdays at 10:30 PM. Richard is a genial tyrant, who kidnapped the beautiful peasant Madalena (Mallory Jansen) away from her true love Galavant (Joshua Sasse). However, Madalena has chosen Richard and his riches over romance, leaving Galavant bereft.
